They say if you choose a career in a field that you have a passion for, you will never have to “work” a day in your life. Exercise and health have been a passion of mine for over 20 years, making my career choice an easy one. My workouts range from three to six days per week, depending on the type of training cycle I am on. For cardio I prefer interval training on either an incline trainer or an elliptical. I like to change my workout routine on a monthly basis, it allows for a larger variety of exercises to prevent muscle imbalances and it helps prevent both physical and mental plateaus.

Experience: Over 12 years of experience in fitness, wellness and safety.

I make everyday an exciting, new adventure! I exercise at least four times a week – boot-camp-style workouts, softball, racquetball, and long distance running. I have done a half marathon in my life, and I plan to do at least one more! I also keep my sanity by laughing - did you know that if you laugh for 15 minutes a day, you can burn enough calories to equal 4 pounds in a year? If you need a good laugh, stop by!

Experience: Professionally, I have worked in a variety of healthcare settings, but I have always found my way back to preventative health and wellness. I have four years of phlebotomy experience, three years health promotion/education and one year of experience in cardiac/telemetry nursing. My passion is teaching and motivating others. I plan on continuing my education with a master’s degree in nursing.
