Most days of the week I enjoy exercise such as fitness walking and strength training, biking and/or hiking. Spending leisure time with my family - playing board games, watching movies, and playing sports - is an important weekend routine for us. Adapting recipes to be healthier and preparing good-tasting healthy foods is also one of my passions.

Experience: Over 17 years, I have actively promoted corporate wellness in roles as a program coordinator, health educator, speaker and advocate of healthy living.

What I do to stay healthy: My personality calls for me to mix things up & to sometimes “trick” myself into working out. I love sports for this reason. Volleyball, playing speed golf & also enjoy the wooded trails of playing Frisbee/Disc Golf with my kids are all favorites of mine. I try to exercise right away in the morning so that if anything interrupts my schedule, I can feel good that I have already got my work out in. I enjoy encouraging others & believe in keeping things simple & individualized because education can be useless if there isn’t a personal connection or motivation.

Experience: Approximately 10 years as a Registered Nurse
